At Edgewater Gardens, we offer our residents a powerful resource and a recipe for successful enjoyable living. Listed below is a comprehensive list of services we offer to our residents. 

Personal Attention & Services

 ·       Medical care available 24 hours a day living, including medication administration registered staff.

 ·       Assistance with activities of daily living 24 hours a day.

  ·       Pharmacy, Laboratory, Diagnostics, Dental, Optometry, Podiatry (foot) care services, etc.

 ·       Three nutritious, well- balanced meals daily with snacks between meals.

 ·       Alternative meal choices available with each meal

 ·       Dietitian Referrals – special diets and dietary supplements to promote health.

·       Activation & Social Programming – entertainment, games, movies, seasonal events, and much, much, more.. Daily activities and programs are planned based on residents' wishes, input and recommendations.

 ·       End of Life Care – " A Celebration Of Life" service is organized for the residents and family members on a quarterly basis.

 ·       Pastoral Care – Worship services and pastoral visits are all part of the services offered in the Home.

·        Restorative Care Program – includes physiotherapy, walking program, exercises, restorative feeding and other related programs. Each resident is regularly assessed and evaluated for placement in the program based on his/her needs with the goal of  improving or maintaining the resident's goal of functional abilities.

·       Supplies & equipment to meet medical/personal care needs, Laundry Services at no cost to the resident, including labeling, washing and drying of personal clothing as well as provision of clean linen, was cloths and towels.

The Home facilitates a number of onsite services which the resident may choose to purchase and which are not limited to:

• Telephone/Internet service

• Cable T.V. Services

• On Site Hairdressing/ Barber Services  

  enjoy onsite beauty salon and barber services at various times during the week. Services include perm, colour, cut, set, and nails.

• Newspaper Delivery

• Dentist/ Denturist/ 

• Ironing and Mending Services

Be a Volunteer !

Contact our Programs Coordinator to join this group of dedicated people who are always in need of an additional pair of hands. Take a part in our therapeutic programs such as Meal Time Partners, walking, playing games, reading, sing-song, etc. and make the difference! Family members are especially needed and encouraged to join in this worthwhile form of community service. Please contact our Programs Coordinator for further information on how you can make an impact in the lives of the frail elderly by becoming a Volunteer.
